Best Wine Bars in St. Pete
1. Lolita’s Wine Market
Step into the colorful world of Lolita’s Wine Market! This vibrant wine bar in St. Pete is known for its eclectic vibe and expertly curated wine list.
When I shared my go-to wine preferences (Pinot Grigio all day!), they surprised me with a dry Riesling that completely blew my mind—it’s now a top contender for my all-time favorite glasses of wine! Pair your perfect pour with one of their drool-worthy charcuterie boards that are as much a treat for the eyes as the taste buds.
Whether you’re enjoying the Florida sunshine on their inviting outdoor patio or indulging in their stellar brunch indoors, Lolita’s is a vibe you won’t want to miss.
2. Dracula’s Legacy Wine Bar & Bistro
Step into Dracula’s Legacy, where it feels like spooky season all year long! This Romanian-European wine bar is tucked away near the Sundial in downtown St. Pete, offering over 100 wines and a hauntingly good vibe.
Try a wine flight for a little tasting adventure or go for their $5 house wines (yes, $5!). Pair your drinks with their to-die-for charcuterie or tasty flatbreads, and keep an ear out for live music in the courtyard—it’s the perfect hidden gem for wine lovers.
3. CellarMasters Wine Bar & Bottle Shop
The vibes at CellarMasters Wine Bar & Bottle Shop are immaculate—it’s dark, cozy, and feels like sharing a bottle of wine in your best friend’s basement (but way more chic). This spot offers an intimate, laid-back atmosphere perfect for unwinding.
What makes CellarMasters truly special is there’s no menu! Instead, you let their expert staff know what you’re craving, and they’ll pour you something that matches. I told them I wanted something light, crisp, with a hint of apple, and after sampling two options, I found the perfect glass.
Whether you’re exploring new wines or catching up with friends, this place offers a truly personalized and memorable experience.
4. Book + Bottle
Whoever dreamed up pairing books and wine deserves an award! Book + Bottle combines two of my great loves into one adorable space. Sip on a thoughtfully chosen wine (or grab a bottle to take home) while flipping through their curated selection of books.
They also serve coffee, so it’s no wonder this spot made my list of the best coffee shops in St. Pete, too. Be sure to check their events calendar—there’s always something fun happening. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a good read and an even better pour.
5. Buchette del Vino at Crislip Cafe
Step into a little slice of Tuscany right here in St. Pete! Tucked away in a hidden alley on Central Avenue, the Wine Window at Crislip Cafe is a charming nod to the streets of Italy. Simply knock on the window, place your order, and moments later, you’ll be sipping on a glass of red, white, or bubbly.
They offer a rotating selection weekly, so there’s always something fresh to try. This delightful gem shares its space with one of my favorite coffee shops, Crislip Cafe, making it a double win! Limited hours mean you’ll want to time your visit right, but rumor has it they may extend them soon!
6. Bacchus Wine Bistro
Oh, how I adore Bacchus Wine Bistro! If you’re looking for unbeatable happy hour deals, this spot tops the list of best wine bars in St. Pete. Happy hour runs daily from 3–6 PM, featuring $4.50 wines, small plates for $4.50, and a small chef-curated charcuterie board for only $6.50!
Everything here is top-notch, from the cozy ambiance to the delicious bites, and those prices? Truly unbeatable. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick glass or settling in for a full happy hour experience, Bacchus is bound to impress.
7. Pistil House
Pistil House is where cozy vibes meet floral charm—and they’ve nailed it. This adorable coffee shop-turned-wine bar features a curated selection of Pacific Northwest wines, craft beers, and even non-alcoholic drinks, making it perfect for everyone.
I haven’t personally tried their wine yet (it’s on my list!), but I’ve heard rave reviews. Plus, they offer a build-your-own charcuterie board for the ultimate snack pairing. With its warm, welcoming vibe and fresh flowers scattered throughout, Pistil House feels like stepping into a chic, bohemian living room.
Whether it’s day or night, this spot is perfect for a relaxing drink.
8. Bar Chinchilla
This cozy downtown gem has quickly become one of my go-to wine bars in St. Pete! Bar Chinchilla has over 50 fine wines from around the globe and rotating craft beer taps for when you’re in the mood for hops instead of grapes.
Happy hour runs every day from 4–7 PM, with half-off select wines and $1 off drafts. Plus, their wine club is next-level—think hand-picked bottles delivered straight to you, based on your preferences, with extra perks to sweeten the deal.
I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried their San Felo Toscana Sangiovese. Let’s just say I’m now a proud member of the red wine club!
9. Sauvignon Wine Locker
Sauvignon Wine Locker takes wine bars in St. Pete to the next level with its dreamy mix of fine wine and mouthwatering Italian cuisine. From charcuterie boards to heavenly housemade pasta, this spot knows how to pair the perfect bite with your pour.
Snag a seat on their second-floor balcony for New Orleans-style vibes, complete with charming views. And don’t forget to swing by during happy hour Tuesday through Friday, 4–6 PM for discounted wine and small plates that make every sip taste even better.
10. Toast the Hostess
