Are you ready to explore the best rooftop restaurants in St. Pete? Where the skyline meets delicious cuisine and breathtaking views. If you’re like me, always on the hunt for the best rooftop restaurants in town, you’re in for a treat!
As a Tampa Bay local, and a frequent visitor to these elevated gems, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing each one firsthand. From romantic sunset dinners to lively weekend brunches, the rooftop restaurants here offer a diverse range of culinary delights paired with stunning panoramas.
Rooftop Bars & Restaurants in St. Pete Beach
1. Level 11 at the Bellwether Beach Resort
Level 11 is one of my absolute favorite rooftop bars in St. Pete Beach for sunset! You are right on the beach and the views are unbeatable! I loved their 11th Hour Espresso Martini, and the food menu is full of great bites! Their Samba Waves appetizer is light and refreshing and a must-get!
If you want to kick things up a notch, you can head up a level to Spinners, Tampa Bay’s only revolving restaurant. It’s a great romantic restaurant in St. Pete too if you’re doing a date night! Enjoy dinner as the room very slowly spins giving you 360-degree views of St. Pete Beach.
The menu showcases fresh seafood, expertly sourced cuts of beef, and locally grown produce.

2. Cane & Barrel
Step into a world of Cuban-inspired flair and flavor at Cane & Barrel, one of the newest rooftop restaurants in St. Pete. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be transported to the colorful energy of Havana nights.
The interior lounge is a cozy escape, with beautiful decor and cozy seating. You also have the option to sip your expertly crafted cocktail on their open-air terrace. The Cuban-inspired menu has options like a Cuban sandwich, street tacos, empanadas, and tostones with a delicious cilantro crema.
I also love that Cane & Barrel also offers an awesome selection of mocktails that are just as delicious as their craft cocktails!
3. The Canopy at The Birchwood
The Canopy is right on Beach Drive and has private cabanas, fire pits, and some of the best frose I’ve ever had! Seriously, it’s my fave. Better yet, if you go on a Wednesday when it’s ladies’ night, they have half off frose 😉 Oh, and did I mention the stunning views of the bay, St. Pete Pier, and North Straub Park?!
If you’re coming hungry they have a menu full of bar bites which includes sliders, flatbreads, wings, and more. It’s a great lunch spot, but if you’re looking for something a little more for dinner you can enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar and then head downstairs to Birch & Vine for a more extensive dinner menu. Their steak is phenomenal!
4. Pier Tiki
Pier Tiki is located on the St. Pete Pier and has a fun tropical vibe! It’s owned by the same owner as The Canopy, and they serve the same delicious frose! They also have quite a selection of tropical “I’m on vacay” vibe drinks! Tiki glass and all.
As far as food goes, they offer a bar bites menu with things like wings, sandwiches, flatbreads, dips, and more. I recommend grabbing a drink from here, enjoying the views, and grabbing a bite from one of the restaurants on Beach Drive!
Similar to SiX rooftop bar in Tampa, being at Pier Tiki around sunset and looking back at St. Pete’s skyline gave me one of those “wow, I am so lucky to live here” moments.
