Rooftop Bars & Restaurants in St. Pete Beach
1. Level 11 at the Bellwether Beach Resort
UPDATE: TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO HURRICANE DAMAGE
Level 11 is hands-down one of my favorite rooftop bars in St. Pete Beach—especially at sunset! You’re literally right on the beach, and the views? Unreal. I got the 11th Hour Espresso Martini and was fully obsessed, and their Samba Waves appetizer is super light, refreshing, and a total must-order.
If you’re feeling a little fancy, head up one more level to Spinners, Tampa Bay’s only revolving restaurant! It’s such a fun spot for date night—you get 360-degree views of St. Pete Beach while you eat. The menu features everything from fresh seafood to locally grown produce and top-notch steaks.

2. Cane & Barrel
Cane & Barrel is bringing all the Cuban-inspired vibes to downtown St. Pete, and I am so here for it. It’s one of the newer rooftop restaurants in St. Pete, and it is just absolutely stunning!
The indoor lounge is super cozy, and the open-air terrace is equally charming. The menu is packed with flavorful bites—think Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, tacos, and crispy tostones with cilantro crema. And don’t sleep on their mocktails—they’re just as flavorful as the craft cocktails!

3. The Canopy at The Birchwood
The Canopy is one of those rooftop spots in St. Pete that just gets it right. It’s perched right on Beach Drive and comes with all the vibes—private cabanas, cozy fire pits, and one of my favorite froses!
Even better? Wednesdays are ladies’ night, which means half-off frose… yes, please! And the views? You’ve got the bay, St. Pete Pier, and North Straub Park all in one dreamy skyline.
If you’re hungry, their bar bites hit the spot—sliders, flatbreads, wings, all the good stuff. But if you’re looking for more of a sit-down dinner, grab a drink upstairs and then head down to Birch & Vine—their steak is so good!

4. Pier Teaki
Pier Teaki is such a fun little tropical escape right on the St. Pete Pier! It’s got that laid-back vacay vibe—tiki drinks, ocean breeze, and all the beachy energy you could want. It’s actually owned by the same crew behind The Canopy, so yep, they’ve got that frose too (you already know I’m obsessed).
They’ve got a solid bar bites menu with wings, sandwiches, flatbreads, and dips—perfect for casual snacking. But honestly? I say grab a drink (served in a tiki glass, obviously), soak up those waterfront views, and then make your way over to Beach Drive for dinner.
And if you’re there around sunset? That dreamy golden light over the water with the St. Pete skyline behind you is such a magical moment.

5. Sparrow
If you’re looking for a vibeyyyyy rooftop bar in downtown St. Pete, Sparrow is it. The music had me this close to rallying for a night out… but let’s be real, I went home to my cats instead.
This is the perfect place to grab tapas and cocktails with your crew before hitting the town. My faves? The shrimp tacos, NY strip, and Brussels sprouts—all so good.
And the drinks? So fun. I’m obsessed with their Disco Balls on Fire, which is actually a mocktail, but I tried it both ways (with mezcal, of course), and 10/10 recommend either version!
